• Tier1- Any residential solar system with up to 3KW capacity will get 40% of the CFA from the scheme.
• Tier2- Any residential solar system with a capacity between 3KW and 10KW will get CFASs from 40% to 20%. Here for the first 3KW, you get 40% and then 20% for anything above that.
• Tier3- Any residential solar system with up to 10KW capacity will get 40% CFA for the first 3KW and 20% for 7KW with no subsidy beyond the 10KW cap.

The government scheme is also promoting commercial solar panel installations by offering 75% of current tariffs and a price range of 2.92-4.31 per unit. Apart from this if you need a surplus injection of solar energy, you can opt for extra power through MSME provisions for a price of 2.25/unit for the first five years.
